I'm glad you mentioned Schematron. One of the uses of Schematron
is to make assertions about a document graph. This is primarily for
validation, but can also be used for data mining.
Transquery enables this by providing a standard way to access a
collection of documents. Producing a custom Schematron
implementation that uses the Transquery input parameter would be
a simple task.
